Neuro champions
We support young people who self harm through Neuro ChampionsYesterday a study in the The Lancet showed an increase in #SelfHarm.
We know that self harm is often a life saving response for young people going through a difficult time. However this way of coping is not helpful and can lead to other problems.
We run specific #neurochampions young leaders groups for Young People who Self harm. We create safe space to learn alternative coping techniques, why they are self harming and how they can can support themselves and others.
We believe giving young people the skills to deal with the difficulties of life in a fun and engaging way can prevent statistics like these.
